This album was inspired by my Uncle Sem's disturbing front cover photo and is also the second chapter of the “Hands trilogy” (the first is the album called “The Bleeding Shelf” macofbionight.bandcamp.com/album/the-bleeding-shelf-horror-tales-08 ).

When the writing appeared on his bedroom wall, Alan was aghast: he lived on the top floor of the building and nobody could have possibly broken into his apartment. In fact, nobody did, the door and all the windows hadn’t been tampered with. Yet, the words in red, sketchy letters were there and said "Follow the white stones".
He spent the whole day at work thinking about it, unwilling to mention it to anybody lest they thought he had lost his mind. Walking back home that night, though, he noticed a series of small white stones nested in the ground beside the road at a regular distance from each other.
“Follow the white stones”... he did, crossing fields and narrow dirt roads and found himself in front of the old, abandoned cemetery where he used to play with his friends as a child. Three of those children, now about 40-year-old men, were still his best friends.
The line of stones continued into the cemetery to the door of a crypt guarded by a stone angel with his hands stretched out as if to stop any intruder from entering. He ran back home and called his three friends. They wouldn't think he was crazy: they all had perceived something in that place that went way beyond simple self-suggestion. They would believe him and go back there with him.
However, none of them could be prepared for what they eventually found...
