Paul Asbury Seaman Hard to believe all the “acoustic” instruments on this album, including "horns" and string bass, were actually played on a keyboard, just with samplers. Even more amazing that Mac has produced a fully realized album that doesn’t sound like a tech company’s audio demo. I especially love the “accordion” and clapping on the last track. Favorite track: ANOTHER TOWN.

JUST MUSIC series - vol 82

Genre: acoustic, latin, who knows...

please refer to this page for notes about this series:

The crazy photo you can see on the cover that Uncle Sem sent me some time ago made me want to record an album using only emulations of acoustic instruments and guided me through musical grounds I hadn't explored before.
Sem, I will never thank you enough for the endless inspiration your pictures are to me and all they make me discover about my own music!!!

This album is dedicated to Edgardo Cambòn, the great musician from Uruguay: thank you for your wonderful music that made me rediscover the pleasure of listening when I thought I had lost it forever. That was an invaluable gift!
I know my percussion parts probably sound terrible to your ears, but they would be a lot worse without the precious notions I learned from your video classes, so thank you for that, too :)

Find Edgardo's music here:
and on the usual platforms.

I was one half of BIOnighT (a Berlin School duo that split in 2011) for twelve years. I've always recorded my own stuff, though, lots of it and in many diverse genres. So make sure to check out all of my albums on Bandcamp, at least one is bound to belong in a genre you like!
