Sentient robots called "Salvagers" are sent around the galaxy to retrieve anything that can be salvaged from crashed spaceships and city ruins, so it can be recycled, studied, or displayed in a museum for everybody to enjoy.
However, one day Laurel and Hardy, two of these Salvagers, bring back something that will turn out to be much more than an ancient artifact.
In fact, the idol might destroy the galaxy... or save it.
