MEANING:

We all lose people along the way. We have fights, different opinions, choices that separate us. Sometimes we even think that people we respected are actually worthless fools and what we felt and thought before was all a blunder. We’ll never meet some of them again, while others might even come back into our lives. However, it is very important not to forget what they did for us. Don’t let hate or rage or any other negative feeling you might have make you forget the things – even the small ones – you should be grateful for. Gratitude is a fundamental and very noble emotion we should all cherish and cultivate. Even when you are angry with someone, think of what they did for you and be genuinely grateful for it: you’ll find out hate becomes harder, maybe even impossible, and you’ll be clear-minded enough to see that the other person is just a human being. At that point, you will be able to forgive and you will feel much better, without negative thoughts polluting your existence. Be grateful.
