CLASSIC EM series - vol 56

Every instrument created by Markus of Tone2 is not just great, it also has a unique personality.
Saurus is one of my favorites, as behind a relatively harmless simplicity there are enough power and versatility to generate sounds that range from 50's early experiments, to 60's and 70's analog gear, to 80's semi-digital sounds and more.
Its natural retro soul is what I focused on while creating a new soundset for it simply called "Retro". I had fun programming sounds that freely moved through all these early decades of electronic music and imagining myself in those (then futuristic) laboratories!
This album was entirely recorded using solely Saurus and the "Retro" soundset I made for it, which you can find on Tone2's website in their "sounds/saurus" section: www.tone2.com/overview_sa.html
Recording this work was exciting for me, so I hope you will enjoy the journey as well :)
