about

Tracks composed by Jacek Spruch aka E=motion
Original versions available on his albums
"Infinite Motion" and "A Dream within a Dream"
These cover versions were arranged and performed by Mac in 2009.

-

Jacek was a very fine electronic musician from Poland. He was also a very nice person, maybe too sensitive for this ugly world.
His music was always good, but there were two tracks of his I particularly loved: American Dream 1 and American Dream 2. Number 2 is especially great, from my point of view, with that very intense melody that just stays with you and makes it a real electronic hymn. He never revealed to me why he had chosen those titles.
In 2009 I asked him if he was willing to let me record cover versions of those two tracks and he kindly gave me his permission. Unfortunately, the album I was planning to include them on was never to be, for various reasons. However, I did release them as a single. I have now (2015) remastered that single and I’m releasing it here in its definitive version for the first time. This is obviously a tribute to this fine musician: I hope you’re still making music, Jacek, wherever you are.

Mac of BIOnighT Italy

I was one half of BIOnighT (a Berlin School duo that split in 2011) for twelve years. I've always recorded my own stuff, though, lots of it and in many diverse genres. So make sure to check out all of my albums on Bandcamp, at least one is bound to belong in a genre you like!
